My PR Background

A proud Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Florida, UF PR Department Award winner, and Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) member, I am a communications professional with four years of experience.

With a strong foundation in public relations and digital storytelling,  I have managed social media platforms reaching a combined 3.3 million followers and collaborated with nationally recognized brands including Dillard’s, Clinique, Batiste, Princess Polly and PINK.

My career began with internships at the University of Florida’s Office of Strategic Communications and as a UF News reporter, where I learned the foundation of strategic messaging, media relations, and writing with purpose. These early roles shaped my understanding of how to create engaging pitches, which helped me secure 15 media appearances as a Miss America titleholder.

From there, I transitioned into the sports industry, applying my foundational skillset in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. While working with the Florida Gators Athletics, I served as both a creative media and marketing intern, and I managed social media coverage for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, educating me on how real-time storytelling, brand alignment, and audience engagement can lead to national reach.

My time as Miss Florida Citrus 2025 introduced me to the compelling opportunities being an agricultural communicator had to offer. Utilizing connections built during my year of service, I secured my current role as social media specialist for Florida Farm Bureau Federation. Serving 132,000 member families, I use digital platforms to educate audiences and empower others to leverage social media as both a marketing and advocacy tool.

As much as I love spending time behind the camera, I also enjoy spending time in front of the screen as a content creator and digital host. From my “Mic’d Up” reels to hosting the Miss Behaved Podcast, which reaches listeners in 21 countries worldwide, I have developed a personal following of more than 115,000 across social platforms, allowing me to amplify brand messages while maintaining authenticity.

As Miss Florida 2026, I am prepared to leverage my professional background and offer my services pro bono to the organization now and for years to come.
