MEET HALLE
Halle Burton is Miss Tampa 2026, a published journalist, a nonprofit CEO, and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a degree in public relations and was the proud recipient of the Sharon Connell Service Award, UF PR Department Award, and UF Presidential Service Award. A member of Florida Blue Key, Florida’s oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary, Halle served as both the outreach chair and executive director of Florida’s Future Leadership Program. She is currently pursuing her master’s in digital journalism and design at the University of South Florida.
With four years of professional PR experience, Halle is the social media specialist for Florida Farm Bureau Federation, the state’s largest agricultural organization serving more than 132,000 member families. A skilled digital storyteller, she has managed platforms reaching a combined 3.3 million followers and collaborated with nationally recognized brands including Dillard’s, Clinique, Batiste, and PINK. From securing 15 media appearances as a Miss America titleholder to working in high-visibility roles with Florida Gators Athletics and the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, Halle has built a career at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and service.
At the heart of Halle’s mission is Serve Our States (S.O.S.), the nonprofit she founded more than nine years ago to promote service as a pathway to leadership and mental wellness. What began as a personal response to childhood anxiety has grown into a statewide and national movement, featuring the Super Servers program, two Amazon #1 New Release activity books, an animated series, and youth leadership initiatives that have impacted thousands of students. She’s traveled 26,000 miles as the CEO and has partnered with mental health advocacy groups, including: Breaking Thru, AdventHealth, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Florida Mental Health Advocacy Coalition, and Farm State of Mind Alliance, and major nonprofits, including: Lions Club International, YMCA, New Worlds Reading Program, Jacob’s Touch, St. Jude, Glimmer of Hope Foundation, Caleb’s Pitch, and Peaceful Paths.
Once a shy young girl, Halle is now a confident advocate and communicator, ready to serve as Miss Florida 2026.
